Summer in Alaska with NOLS

                                                                          This is me in Alaska during my 4-week Backpacking and Sea Kayaking course with NOLS. It was beautiful and scenic and remote. The perfect place to take selfies.

But it was also so much more.

 It was a place to learn and a place to build leadership skills,

resourcefulness, confidence, endurance, and grit. I loved every moment of it.
